H.R.2585 – Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act of 2019
Why is there a need for special treatment for victims of gun violence? Let’s dig into this one. We know how they screw around with numbers of gunshot victims, crimes, suicides, etc., so put that aside since arguing does no good anyway. Remember H. Res 702? There are some similarities there yet it goes way more into ‘gun violence’ in particular. It’s a bit troubling how both of these bills seem to mention people of color the way they do. Why the need to mention this group? One bill wants to let criminals out of jail, the other wants to give victims extra support, ok, why is this group listed in this way? Is all of this a ploy to add cash into inner cities? Somehow a poor person of color is affected more by violent crime on both the victim side and the ‘resources’ side, can someone explain this? Let’s dig further.
Veterans Administration, Social Security, and other groups are mentioned later as being involved to organize this, ok, what exactly will this do, who will get paid? Maybe, it’s just another layer of government?
Here is what I find. Ok, an advisory council will be established. Like we need more government, anyway, this advisory council is to include victims of gun violence, but why? Are the doctors and counselors not enough? Well, where better to add a few anti-gun folks? Just read the bill.
